Bone, Smoke & Thunder is a journey through time, abstraction, and the undercurrent of Afrofuturism that pulses through Ainsley Burrows’ work. Spanning pieces from 2022 to 2025, the exhibition reveals the evolution of his artistic language, where the past and future fold into each other. The paintings act as portals—time machines—connecting viewers to both ancestral echoes and speculative futures.

Enhancing this journey is a soundscape by Dalmar James, an award-winning producer of music and film, created specifically for the exhibition.
